Clinical Leaders Address Quality Improvements and AI Workflows in ePoster Presentations

(EL SEGUNDO, Calif.) April 22, 2022 – Experts from Radiology Partners (RP), a leading radiology practice in the U.S., will be well represented at the 2022 American College of Radiology® (ACR®) Annual Meeting, taking place April 24-26 in Washington, D.C.

RP’s Clinical Value Team is honored to share two abstracts selected as ePosters. One of the abstracts reviews their approach to quality improvement by establishing a patient safety organization at a national level. The other is focused on use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to support evidence-based practice.

  • Catherine J. Everett, MD, MBA, FACR, was elected to the ACR Board of Chancellors and serves as a member-at-large. She previously served as president of the North Carolina ACR chapter, member of the Council Steering Committee, chair of the economics committee of the General Small Emergency and Rural Commission and chair of the steering committee of the Senior Retired Section.
  • Elizabeth Hawk, MS, MD, PhD, serves on the ACR Council Steering Committee as a representative voice of the ACR membership and helps to support and develop ACR policy. She is also an active member of the Commission for Women and Diversity.
  • Richard E. Heller III, MD, MBA, serves as a member of the ACR’s Commission on Economics and will present on the topic of surprise medical billing. He will discuss the recent federal law that was passed to address the problem.
