Dr. Robert Gordon: Service Award

Dr. Gordon is a vascular and interventional radiologist (IR) and serves as radiology chair at his local hospital. He was recognized by multiple hospital administrators and clinical teammates for his willingness to improve service offerings to patients and his service to referring providers.

Dr. Gordon helped create, build and promote his hospital client’s pain management program, fostering a multi-disciplinary approach with IR, PT/OT, neurosurgery, neuromusculoskeletal and osteopathic manipulative medicine. The hospital staff reported a boost in morale because of his intentionality in building relationships with referring providers, hospitalists and residents. Additionally, the clinical team said he treats every patient as though they are his only one of the day, and he treats his peers with great respect, no matter their title. Stephanie Gibb, Dr. Gordon’s hospital colleague and director of cardiopulmonary and IR services, said, “It is truly a pleasure to work with a physician who puts our patients first, wants to grow our IR business and is an active participant in doing so.”
