On September 22, more than 80 radiology residents, fellows and dozens of Radiology Partners leaders will gather at the Vdara Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas for two days at Transform, RP’s signature event to connect trainees with RP and with each other to expand their radiology networks.

Throughout the weekend, trainees and their guests will be immersed in RP’s unique culture, learn about RP’s mission to transform radiology and hear about our commitment to deepen the integration of our specialty across the continuum of patient care.

This year’s Transform features presentations on our industry and specialty. General sessions include the following topics and speakers:

  • Healthcare Policy: Dr. Richard Heller, associate chief medical officer for communications and health policy
  • Contracts: Dr. Anisha Martin, vascular and interventional radiologist and physician recruiting support board member, and Kati Brady, associate vice president and assistant general counsel
  • About RP: Dr. Anthony Gabriel, president and RP co-founder
  • Town Hall: Brian Stern, chief operating officer
  • Artificial Intelligence: Dr. Sriyesh Krishnan, director of innovation deployment

The event will also feature interactive breakout sessions, with RP leaders leading discussions in smaller groups, focusing on professional development and connection with trainees. Topics will include:

  • Healthcare Economics: Dr. Ashok Gupta, diagnostic radiologist and physician recruiting support board member
  • Rads in Leadership: Panel discussion featuring RP radiologists
  • Wellbeing and Physician Burnout: Dr. Anand Singh, musculoskeletal radiologist, west pod president at RP Matrix and physician recruiting support board member
  • Academic vs. Private Practice: Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty, chief medical officer

2023 Transform Speakers

 

Kati Brady

Kati Brady

Kati Brady, AVP, assistant general counsel, (LinkedIn) joined RP in June 2022. Kati handles all labor and employment matters for the practice, including drafting and enforcing contractual restrictive covenants, such as non-competes and non-solicits; negotiating employment agreements; assessing independent contractor and worker classifications; creating and maintaining policies and procedures; and providing general advice and counsel to identify and mitigate risk within the practice. In her role, Kati works with radiologists and practices across the country, in nearly all states in the U.S. Prior to joining RP, Kati litigated labor and employment cases in D.C. for a national law firm and then served as the assistant general counsel for a large healthcare system in Virginia.

Dr. Anthony Gabriel

Dr. Anthony Gabriel

Co-founder of Radiology Partners, Dr. Anthony Gabriel (LinkedIn) serves as president for the practice.

Previously, Dr. Gabriel held the role of chief operating officer for DaVita, Inc., overseeing the integration of Gambro Healthcare which doubled the size of the company. He then transitioned to the role of chief information officer, leading 1,000 teammates and 300 contractors as he oversaw a $150 million budget to develop new systems for DaVita. Dr. Gabriel also previously served as a clinical instructor at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Gabriel received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus and his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles.

Dr. Ashok Gupta

Dr. Ashok Gupta

Dr. Ashok Gupta (LinkedIn) has served Desert Radiology in Las Vegas since 2006. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan and an abdominal imaging fellowship at Duke University. He serves as one of RP’s AI directors of innovation engagement and served on the advisory board for RP’s body imaging national subspecialty division. Additionally, he is an incoming abdominal imaging trustee for the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Rich Heller

Dr. Rich Heller

Dr. Richard Heller (LinkedIn) serves as associate chief medical officer of communications and health policy and national subspecialty lead of pediatric radiology for Radiology Partners. He works closely with each department to collaborate on communications and strategize on policy issues to direct our advocacy efforts, in addition to leading the advancement of clinical programs for the practice’s pediatrics subspecialty division.

Dr. Heller is a pediatric radiologist at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Radiology and a leader with the Society for Pediatric Radiology and the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Heller earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and his MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He completed his residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and his fellowship in pediatric radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Sriyesh Krishnan

Sriyesh Krishnan

Dr. Sriyesh Krishnan is a body imager and emergency radiologist with Greensboro Radiology, an 85+ radiologist group based in central North Carolina. He also serves as the director of innovation development for Radiology Partners, developing strategic initiatives and AI projects for the larger practice while working with Canopy Partners to roll out radiology AI with health systems and hospital partners. Dr. Krishnan completed his residency training at the University of Pennsylvania and his abdominal imaging fellowship at Wake Forest University.

Dr. Anisha Martin

Dr. Anisha Martin

Dr. Anisha Martin (LinkedIn) is a vascular and interventional radiologist in Chicago and a member of RP’s physician recruiting support board. She is passionate about helping female radiologists pursue IR, a subspecialty traditionally comprising only ~34% women. Dr. Martin earned her medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago; completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville; and completed her fellowship in vascular and interventional medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She joined RP in 2014.

Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty

Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty

Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty (LinkedIn) serves as chief medical officer (CMO) for Radiology Partners, championing all aspects of the practice’s clinical agenda and ensuring patient care, clinical value and physician leadership are effectively integrated and prominently represented within RP’s business strategies.

Dr. Nallamshetty is a cardiovascular radiologist and former president at Radiology Associates of Florida. He serves as chief of staff for Tampa General Hospital, the largest academic medical center in Florida, and the chair of the department of radiology at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine.

Dr. Nallamshetty earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in diagnostic imaging at Tufts University School of Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Imaging at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Arthy Saravanan

Dr. Arthy Saravanan

Dr. Arthy Saravanan (LinkedIn) serves as associate chief medical officer of recruitment for Radiology Partners, supporting the development of national recruiting strategy and collaborating with the marketing team to elevate the practice’s brand.

Dr. Saravanan is a breast imaging radiologist and serves as chair of marketing at ARA Diagnostic Imaging in Austin, Texas. She is also an assistant professor for the department of diagnostic medicine at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas in Austin.

Dr. Saravanan earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed her residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, and Aultman/Mercy Hospital/NEOMED in Canton, Ohio. She completed her fellowship in breast imaging at University Health Network in Toronto.

Dr. Anand Singh

Dr. Anand Singh

As a member of RP’s physician recruiting support board, Dr. Anand Singh (LinkedIn) develops and implements recruiting strategies to identify and attract high-quality talent to RP practices nationwide. He is a partner and practicing radiologist at RP Matrix, RP’s internal teleradiology division. He also serves as both RP Matrix director of peer learning and RP Matrix west section chief, and he’s a member of RP’s national patient Safety committee. Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and he completed his residency and fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Brian Stern

Brian Stern

Brian Stern (LinkedIn) is COO of RP. Previously, Brian was CEO of West Dermatology, a family of dermatology practices in California, Arizona, Texas and Nevada. Prior he served as group vice president at DaVita Inc., where he oversaw clinical strategy, field operations and real estate for DaVita’s 65,000 teammates and 2,800 dialysis clinics and was instrumental in leading DaVita’s transition from fee-for-service to value-based care. He also served as senior vice president of operations at Smile Brands, where he oversaw the clinical and financial performance of the company’s 380 dental practices. Brian earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and his MBA from Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
