RP’s 2021 Practice Leadership Summit (PLS) gave us the opportunity to come together to connect, reflect and recognize the work of our colleagues and teammates. As always, time was set aside to celebrate our 2021 Value Award winners.
This important tradition recognizes physicians and support team leaders who personify RP’s practice values – integrity, teamwork, excellence, service and accountability.
This year, we celebrated the Value Award recipients below. Please join us in congratulating them for their work as they embody RP’s values!
Dr. Threasa Frouge, CMO of Banner Imaging
Dr. Frouge received the Teamwork Value Award because of her ability to serve as a resource and mentor to new leaders in any way possible. She projects poise and authority to create positive change in any environment, and she is highly skilled at building teams and setting them up for success. Additionally, she is recognized by the healthcare community as a trusted, strong leader who possesses the knowledge to handle work of the most complex nature.
Barbara Gonzalez-Falla, Practice Director, Baylor Radiologists
Barbara received the Teamwork Value Award for her genuine willingness to offer guidance, share resources and support her fellow Practice Directors however she can. Barbara consistently serves her team by taking on additional responsibilities and carrying them out with an infectious, positive attitude. She is affectionately nicknamed “RP Google” due to the wealth of knowledge she possesses about RP and the assistance she offers in helping others find the answers they need.
Luke Plese, Director, National Market Development
Luke received the Teamwork Value Award for his dependability and willingness to step into any role the Practice needs. Whether he is organizing a PLS team-building activity, hosting a virtual social event or developing sales resources and tools for the Practice, he is always up for the task at hand. Among his many accomplishments, he is known for helping to shape the culture across the Practice by creating positive interactions with every teammate he works with.
Dr. Arlene Richardson, radiologist with RP Chicago
Dr. Richardson received the Service Value Award for her tireless efforts to serve patients. She works to provide healthcare services for an underserved patient population at a local hospital, and she is involved in RAD-AID International to provide medical care and education in Tanzania. Additionally, Dr. Richardson is a dedicated, conscientious teammate with a willingness to serve in any way she can. She is an inspiration for doing the right thing, helping those in need and teaching others to do the same.
Dr. Jorge Ramirez, Practice President for Matrix
Dr. Ramirez received the Excellence Value Award for his embodiment of excellence in his work and in his character. He was nominated for this award because he is truly a master of all RP’s values. Additionally, he is compassionate, resilient, intelligent, dedicated and trustworthy. He is known for his amazing ability to connect with people. This is a very special award to receive, as out of all of RP’s 35 value award winners, this one has only been awarded twice.
