We only have two assets in our practice: our people and our culture. March 30 is National Doctors’ Day and celebrates the first of those—more than 2,800 radiologists who are part of Radiology Partners. Today, we honor each of you and thank you for your dedicated service to patients, referring clinicians and our clients.
Throughout the past year, the importance of physicians and our entire medical community was (and remains) at the forefront as doctors, nurses, technicians, administrators, support teams and many others continue to weather the impact of a global pandemic. Thank you for your expertise and personal sacrifices. You have our deepest respect and gratitude today and every day.
This Doctors’ Day we are also pleased to publicly announce and celebrate the establishment of our Office of the Chief Medical Officer. The press release was distributed today, formally announcing the naming of 13 talented RP radiologists to senior executive leadership roles. Members of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer will advance RP’s mission through key portfolios including: operations, integrations, communications and health policy, clinical artificial intelligence, clinical technology and data, radiologist experience, clinical value, research and education, recruitment, and growth. These new additions to our leadership team will further amplify the voices of radiologist leaders in our field and is reflective of our core values and our mission to transform radiology. As we celebrate Doctors’ Day, we also celebrate this exciting new chapter for our practice. Throughout this week, we will celebrate these physician leaders publicly on RP’s social media channels.
